Part I:
She struts down the street like she owns the place, and in those colors, she definitely does. From her messy ballerina bun extending down her black and ankle-strapped platform shoes, this woman obviously has some serious style. She’s pulling some influence from the uber-cute fifties era. This is shown through her high-waist, calf-length skirt and winged eye makeup. She carefully combines this fifties look with a menswear-inspired blazer and white collared shirt. To give it some modern flair, she tops it off with a fitted blazer.
This is a hot style you might see me rock while walking down the streets of San Francisco. I’d describe the style as modern, fifties-inspired prep, and it just screams sexy-smart-chic. Scouring stacks of trendy magazines, my fashion taste buds tingle.

Part II:
From Prada to Dolce & Gabbana, I always seem to find an amazing retro-inspired outfit that I wish was in my closet. It really inspires me to see great mix-and-matchings.
By artfully styling a fifties-inspired circle skirt with a preppy Peter Pan collar poking out of a fitted knit sweater, you can turn a cute outfit into a designer-like, expensive-looking ensemble in minutes. When thinking about my personal style, Audrey Hepburn comes to mind. She pairs feminine and masculine pieces together so perfectly. I often like to add my own twist by throwing in something unexpected like studs or leather.
In fact, one of my favorite outfits is made up of a feminine, sleeveless dress with velvet leggings and a leather motorcycle jacket. My only hope is that at some point in my life, I’ll have a fashion sense as wonderful as someone like Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, or Elizabeth Taylor.
